- Father/patriarch of the Kahana stunt family. Father of Tony Kahana, Rick Kahana, Kim Kahana Jr., and Debbie Kahana.
- Owned and operated his famous Kahana's Stunt School which was located in Chatsworth CA on the southwest corner of Devonshire and Owensmouth. This facility also operated as a martial arts dojo/school. Many young men and women attended his stunt school and went on to establish themselves as respectable stunt-people and stunt coordinators. His stunt school is presently located in Florida.
